ChargePoint: A Complete Solution for Fleet Operators

The CPF50 is integrated with ChargePoint's advanced fleet charge management software, designed to maximize the benefits of going electric. By bundling the charging station with their software, fleet operators can not only manage charging more efficiently but also optimize their total cost of ownership. The software provides real-time visibility into vehicle readiness, power usage, and station status, allowing operators to keep track of their fleet's performance and charging needs seamlessly.

Maximizing Efficiency and Savings

One of the key features of ChargePoint’s software is energy management, which helps reduce fuel costs and optimize battery health. The platform allows multiple CPF50 units to be connected and managed together, with the option for cloud-based power sharing to further reduce costs. The system is compatible with both J1772 and NACS connectors, offering flexibility for different vehicle types.

“With our lowest cost charger for commercial vehicles, we’re offering a solution that makes EV charging more accessible to businesses of all sizes,” said Rick Wilmer, CEO of ChargePoint. “Combining affordable hardware with our powerful fleet management software allows operators to optimize their savings while transitioning to electric."

Expanding in the Public Sector and Beyond

ChargePoint has also been expanding its business into the public sector, securing $19 million in funding to develop fast-charging infrastructure in California. Additionally, the company recently incorporated AI to help diagnose faults in charging stations and signed a deal with Daimler Buses to integrate ChargePoint's telematics and charge management systems.

ChargePoint's commitment to innovation and affordability is making EV charging more accessible for both small businesses and large fleets, further driving the transition toward electric transportation.
